This website was created as a means to distribute practical materials and resources to schools and districts building Positive Behavior Support systems.  If you have materials you would like to share, please forward them to us and we will be happy to post them.  We will retain all original source information -- just as we expect you to do with the materials you receive from us.

Suzy Johns & Jacquelin Patrick, two San Bernardino City Unified School District school psychologists, began building & implementing Positive Behavior Supports in 2003.  This website contains many of the training and support materials produced throughout that process.

• NEW (October, 2012): SBCUSD Progressive Discipline Matrix: A guide to promote a district-wide culture of proactive intervention and consistent consequences grounded in evidence-based practices.
  

• PowerPoints for Staff: Bully Prevention Within a PBS Paradigm.  This training introduces schools to the process of equipping staff and students to address bullying within a PBS culture.

• Referral Forms (5/11): Office Referral   Low Level Referral   Behavior skills are now listed under chronic minor offenses in the Problem Behavior  field on both the Low Level and Office Referral forms -- i.e., Following Instructions vs. "non compliance," Staying on Task vs. "Disruption."
